(SOLD)

Glenn Marshall was a pioneer in the custom knife making idustry. He made knive until his late 70's. He was the first member of the Texas Knifemakers Guild. Very few artisans were making knives in the 1930's but Texan Glenn Marshall was among them.

Glenn called this knife his COMMEMORATIVE 130-1990 Unused however I'm not the original owner.

The knife comes in Glenn's fred elt lined oak display box. Brass plate  G. Marshall Knives, 1930-1990 COMMEMORATIVE. The box has a few scuffs but I believe some furniture polish would do wonders.

A beautiful well made fixed blade hunting knife.

Desert ironwood handle scales. Full tapered tang.

He engraved his own 416 Stainless steel bolsters and it's fantastic engraving.

Mirror polished 440 C Blade. Along with his Marshall logo is stamped NO 28 of 60 one one side of blade. G. MARSHALL KNIVES 1930-1990 COMMEMORATIVE etched on other side of blade. The mirror polish made it hard for my camera to pick up.

Very nice rope file work along top edge of blade & handle.

9.25" OAL, 4.75" Blade

I never met Glenn but I did speak with him on the telephone. A great man.
