(SOLD)

For your consideration is this vintage rare Frank Richtig aluminum handle kitchen butcher knife. Selling as used.

The overall condition of this vintage knife is excellent. It has a nice patina on the blade. The handle has no nicks or gouges

This Richtig knife would be a great addition to any collection. It would still make a fine using knife in the kitchen or camp. The knife is extremely sharp.

Frank Richtig was a pioneer knifemaker from Clarkson Nebraska.  He had a secret steel tempering process that allowed him to slice through railroad spikes and automobile leaf springs. He would demonstrate his knives at county fairs. He also made fighting knives for WWII military men. He even earned a spot in Ripley's Believe It Or Not magazine in the 1930's

The aluminum handle has Frank's nice deep clear F.J.R. CLARKSON NEB stamp on one side

12.5" OAL, 7 3/4" Blade, 1/16" Thick

I had a custom leather belt sheath made for the knife.
